Dog adoption day, which was planned for July 12 has been postponed until the Hisey Fall Festival. This year's festival will be October the 25th

.We are pleased to announce a project involving the adoption possibilities for the Kettering OH organization of SISCA. This group has been successful in finding homes for dogs and cats in the south Dayton and northern Warren County neighborhoods. The more exposure these dogs in need of rescue have the greater their chance of being adopted, if they stay in the shelter and no one sees them they do not have much chance. Warren County Park District, Warren County Friends of the Park, Warren County Kennel Club, Waynesville Dog Park Advocates will be sponsors of this event. you to

Two new picnic tables have been put together and placed inside the Dog Park. We wish the thank the Warren County park employees for putting the tables togather and getting them on site. Painting the two older picnic tables has been accomplished another table has been placed outside of the fencing area to accommodate those picnickers that should not bring food directly into the dog park itself. There are plans to continue our landscaping project for park beautification. A dog poop rake and shovel has been placed inside the park for communal use. There is some doggie playground toy's purchased already. The frisbees are taking a beating need more heavy duty items. A purple martin birdhouse has been installedand have already attracted several nesting pairs.

Three new brick pavers have been installed recently. Brick pavers, as seen in the paddock area, can still be purchased to recognize your contribution or even to honor or memorialize your pet(s).
