Why a Dog Park?
A dog park offers a FREE area for dogs to socialize and legally run off-leash! It offers elderly or handicapped individuals an accessible place to exercise their animals. A dog park promotes responsible pet ownership. It's a great use of local park space... and dogs LOVE it!
It's free? Who pays for it?
These projects are funded by local donations. Your town or or community will lease an area, but all improvements, including fence, water fountains, seating, and so forth are made available through generous donations from local residents and their pets.
